Contest Period will be 5 October 09 till 30 November 09, and it is open to all babies age 0-4 years old, or born between year 2005 and 2009. There will be winners selected by independent Judging Panel as well as winners selected via public voting. Public voting can be done through See Hua Daily.
Wyeth nation-wide parenting forum was held at Riverside Majestic Sarawak Chamber Ballroom last Saturday. Mummycare was honoured to be invited as one of the participated booth throughout the whole event.
We had presented some truly Special Offers and giveaway only for those who attended the forum on that day.

Mummycare Breastfeeding was organized successfully on 12 September 2009, we would like to express our greatest gratitude to the new Parents for their supports to this event, our Speakers for their enriching and entertaining talks, and all the involved parties for their helps and supports to make this event a success! Your supports and participation is our greatest rewards for organizing more and more such meaningful events in the future. There will be more exciting events coming along, what are those and when? If your kids like to bake and like to design their own cupcakes, and you would love to let everyone knows how talented they are, see this, we are organizing a Cupcake-Deco Competition for kids, the FIRST CUPCAKE-DECO Competition ever being held in Kuching!
This competition will be divided into two groups, Group A for kids age 7 to 12, and Group B is for kids age 13 to 17. Both group will take turn to compete among each other in a two-day event, where Group A contest will be carried out on 19 September, and Group B will be on 20 September 2009.
Look at those lovely cupcakes at the right, these are some samples made by Taka Cake Shop so that everyone can have a rough idea how a cupcake looks like. They are so pretty and attractive.
Don’t let your creativity stops here, let it runs wild and surprises us during the competition!
This competition is jointly organized by Taka Cake Shop, Mummycare, Kiddycare as well as Crown Square Management, with the objective as providing a ground for kids to showcase their creativity, talent and imagination through decorating the small cupcakes that are provided by the organizers. Each participant will be given 10 cupcakes to decorate, they should organize their decoration as a theme for all the 10 cupcakes in order to stand out as a winner. The participant can either select “Fairy Tale” (童话世界) as the theme or doing it “Free-stylely” (自由发挥, that means any theme you prefer) as long as it shows your creativity.
The prettiest and most creative cupcakes combination will be the winner.
Here comes another public Parenting Class for the new parents in September, which we have humorously termed it as a “Breastfeeding Party”. Yes, all mothers-to-be and fathers-to-be, you are welcomed to join and get yourself equipped with all the essential knowledge and tips for successful breastfeeding, in a party mood!
The response was over-whelming, which was very encouraging for us as a Organizer and all the other honourable sponsors.
About 70 couples (a total of 140 people) turned up for the Parenting Class on last Saturday, which has exceeded our initial planning for 50 couples only. Wow!
Young parents are very knowledge-seeking nowadays. They were very attentive to doctors’ speeches during the talk, and politely took their turns to ask question, queueing up for their snacks and goodies bags etc. Amazing parents-to-be.
Many parents (and fathers!) were jotting down notes and important points on their notebooks. And one phenomenon I have noted during the talk, many fathers were the one asking questions to the doctors for advice and pointers. Guys, you all are excellent fathers!
Of course, not forgetting that all mothers-to-be are excellent mothers too.. Show the pictures to your babies and precious one that and tell them that they have an Excellent Parents like yourself. Pictures are the proof!
We are organizing a public Parenting Class for the new parents in the month of May. All mothers-to-be and fathers-to-be, you are welcomed to join the class and get yourself equipped with valuable parenting knowledge.
Through organizing this Parenting Class, Mummycare is hoping to convey the important and accurate information to parents, so that they can be well prepared for their parenting journey right from the start, and not panicking or not knowing what to do when their babies cry or react abnormally. This Parenting Class in May will be the first class that we are organizing for this year, and planning to organize two more such classes before the end of the year. We believe that this is a good and beneficial activity that should always be carried out for providing a variety of important parenting knowledge for parents.
Mummycare is feeling honoured that many of our customers have been so lucky to be chosen as the winners of this Lutein Lucky Draw organized by Wyeth Malaysia last November. What’s even more heart-warming and excited for us is that, the First Prize Winner throughout the whole East Malaysia is also coming from Mummycare!

An eventful night. A sparkling night.
We saw all the little stars shining on the stage, performing their talents, putting on their best for the audience. Some of the contestants were presenting a brand new talent that was not performed during the audition earlier. For example, Contestant A03 Fion Chai was singing and at the same time playing a hula-hoop without stop, and A05 Elva Chiu was performing a stunning Magic Show that overwhelmed everyone!
All in all, the various Little Princesses contestants were doing extraordinary well and we were all amazed by their superb performance last night.
